Oh, that is awesome! I'd love to too! :w00t:

I loved the stuff about your dad. Unfortunately. I can't place him, but he sounds mighty interesting. Must have made for a unique childhood -- dad a pickin' and a strummin' -- did he travel a lot? That was a hellava time to grow up -sex, drugs and rockandroll. I partook heartily in all three :headbang: I assume you're younger than I am - I grew up in the 70's.

I'm up for chatting any time! Have fun with the decorations!

WOW! Selina Fox (H.P. and founder of Circle) was (years ago) a good friend of my husband's (Ken Saichek). They considered each other spiritual siblings. My husband is an expert on ancient Chinese philosophy and an adept with the I Ching. (He taught himself to read Chinese so he could study the original texts of the I Ching.) I am an expert with the Tarot and such things as astral travel, energy balancing, Jungian Dream interpretation. Ken started his own Esoterics center in Wauwatosa (Aquarius Rising) in 1975, providing readings and teaching I Ching, Meditation, The Seth material and more, and began his own school in Esoteric Counseling. I met him through this training program in 1983 and joined the staff in 1985. Ken branched into Clinical Hypnotherapy as well in 1983, rapidly becoming well known throughout the Mid-west. He later developed an ass-kicking formal training program in Clinical Hypnotherapy for Professionals and offered this through Aquarius Rising and Oasis Center (Chicago.) I took that training as well, (3 years) and was offered a position with him as co-trainer. In 1986 we fell in Loooooove, married in 1990, changed the name of the practice to Saichek/Vail Hypnotherapy, and offered multi-modal psychotherapy along with the Hypnotherapy. The psychic stuff was reserved for a select few who wern't looking for answers to life's meaningless questions and Shirley McClain hoo doo.

Sadly, my husband became disabled in 2003 and in 2005 we closed the practice. He is now retired and I am unsure what the heck I'm going to do for a real job :stab: I would have to go back to school and do 5000 hours of supervised therapy (for free) to practice legally in Colorado :chainsaw: I'm NOT doing THAT!! Once we move out of this crappy gambling town and back to Boulder, I might start up my psychic counseling and maybe teach again. Who Knoooooows?

Anyway, sorry this is so long-winded, I'm just thrilled to find another with common roots and passions. I, too consider myself Pagan and heavily Magick oriented. I've been yearning to get back in touch with this part of my being (which has been dormant for the last couple of years) and both Ken and I are working to welcome magick back into our world. How cool is it to run into you here and now? Synchronicity strikes again! Hey! That witches ball must have been so neat and . . . how great of you to take your daughter! It sounds like you've got a great husband and relationship, too. Very rare indeed!

Well, a store that carries my jewelry has requested more stuff for the holidays so the Saichek bead mill goes into action, at 1 am. I'm a true night owl - I'll probably be up all night. :headbang: faretheewell for now.

As above, so below, as within, so without.
