Darkrider 712 is to thank for this simply AWESOME source image. (Thank you thank you thank you! =D)

The drawing was done on Strathmore heavyweight 90 lb paper and the medium is Aquarel watercolor crayons. It is
18" x 24". The purpose of this drawing was to LOOSEN UP!, be expressive and not worry so much about anatomical perfection, but rather follow the flow of the body and capture the "impression" of the pose.

I think you really captured the looseness you were looking for, especially in the movement of the mane and motion of the hindquarters. Seems like he will dance right off the screen at me.
